The thing that impressed me the most on my Mexico mission trip was the ant hill. I have never seen such poverty in the United States. I saw houses made of trash or any thing they could find. When we first drove in we saw a house made of doors. You could see how much it affected the kids when we interacted with them. It is hard to imagine the people there can live off of a Wal-Mart sack full of food for a month. Poverty is something I think everyone should be thinking about in their lives.
